| Eastwood’s Skip to my Lu~Lu
November 13th 1999 - April 5th 2010 When I picked up Lu-Lu over 10 years ago on New Years Day 2000, I was the happiest person in the world. She was so beautiful to me. The place I got her from was not a nice place. I did not know exactly how bad it was until I learned as time went on and I got educated on many things. When I was growing up if we wanted a dog we looked in the paper, made a call and went and got one. At the time it never crossed my mind that you were supposed to 'research' how to buy a dog! So this is how Lu-Lu entered our lives. |

| Lu-Lu loved life and celebrated it daily. When I would give everyone a pig ear or bone to chew on or a new toy, all the others would just lay down and get busy eating or tearing the toy apart. LuLu would run circles in the yard leaping and bounding about and having a little party about her treat. It made me laugh a lot and brought me so much joy to give Lu-Lu treats and new toys. She appreciated them like no other. |

| I recognized the qualities in Lu-Lu and the not so nice things too as I studied and learned the standard and while others dismissed any of the good simply because of ‘where’ she came from, once my passion and determination started brewing my plan was always to move forward with her. Every time I heard the words ‘You can’t’, I became more determined and bullheaded to try and prove, Yes I can! Right or wrong is a moot point now for several years and we have moved past all that. I would not ever advise anyone to start the way I did. It's a long road but I would also not trade ANY of my experiences for different. I'm thankful I got to travel this part of the road with Lu-Lu. I have learned more then I ever dreamed possible and owe so much of that to her. She is the reason there is an Eastwood Danes. She is the reason my passion has grown daily for nearly 11 years and will continue to grow as long as I am alive and able. Lu has been the rock here. She was a fantastic mother/teacher and produced such well behaved beautiful puppies that have touched a lot of lives. |

| Lu~Lu gave me my first 2 Champions and the ‘Yes I can’ turned to reality and made me more proud than words can describe. Lu-Lu & Me! We did it despite the continuance of hearing how it can't or shouldn't be done. My favorite Chinese Proverb inspired by Lu-Lu. Those who say it can not be done should not interrupt those who are doing it. :) |

| My memories of Lu-Lu will be near and dear to my heart for the rest of my life. She gave me so much and taught me so much about life and about people. The good, the bad and the ugly. All of which I am thankful and grateful for. Lu-Lu defines a lot of who I am today.
I don’t think a day had gone by in over 10 years where I didn’t see Lu-Lu striking a beautiful pose and this is the way I will always remember her. It seems like the end of an Era here with her being gone. We turned so many negatives into positives together and I feel so fortunate to have had her as a Foundation. She will continue to inspire me for years to come. The only regret is that I could not have her longer. Thank you for everything Lu-Lu. I love you and I will miss you until we meet again. |

| The picture of health her whole life, Lu-Lu had only been to the vet 2 times in over 10 years. Once for mastitis and once to get a growth removed from her foot at 9 years old. Other then that, she had never been sick a day in her life and never missed a meal. |
